Air Baltic Baggage Allowance Policy

Carry-On Baggage Allowance: Economy passengers are allowed one piece of cabin baggage up to a maximum weight of 8 kg (17.6 lbs) and dimensions not exceeding 55cm x 40cm x 20cm (21.6in x 15.7in x 7.9in). Business Class passengers can carry two pieces of cabin baggage. The combined weight of the baggage should not exceed more than 12kg (26.4 lbs) with the same dimension as in economy class.

Checked Baggage Allowance: Air Baltic checked baggage varies depending on the economy class. Economy Light Fare passengers are not allowed any free checked baggage allowance. Economy Basic Fare passengers are allowed one piece of baggage up to 20 kg (44 lbs). Economy Classic and Flex Fares passengers are allowed one piece of checked baggage up to 20 kg (44 lbs) for free. Business Class passengers are allowed two baggage pieces with a maximum weight of up to 32 kg (70.5 lbs).

Air Baltic Check-in Facilities

Online check-in: Online check-in is the best and preferred way to check-in in most airlines. Passengers can do online check-in through Air Baltic’s official website or mobile app. Online check-in opens 72 hours and closes 45 minutes before the scheduled flight departure for European Union (EU), and 1 hour for international flights. Passengers can select seats, print boarding or receive boarding passes on their mobile.

Mobile Check-in: Mobile Check-in follows the same procedure as online check-in. Passenger can access their boarding pass on their mobile devices and can directly proceed for security check-in. 

Self-Service Kiosks: Self-Service Kiosks are available at dedicated airports offering passengers to check in and get their boarding passes without any assistance. Just follow the instructions, scan travel documents, and print the boarding pass. 

Airport Check-in Counters: Airport check-in counters are available at the dedicated Air Baltic airport counter check-in. Check-in counters open three hours and close 40 minutes to 1 hour before the scheduled departure.
